Week one of the college season kicked off last weekend, and FC WIsconsin alums were making news all over the country, and some have already earned conference weekly honors.  Check out the week one summary of how Wisconsin's top players faired:

o Wisconsin started the season with a 1-0 win over UCF, with the game-winning goal from Dani Rhodes, a PK save from Jordyn Bloomer, and Payton Wesley starting in the backline.  In game 2, the Badgers dropped a 1-0 decision to #1 Florida State University.

o Marquette had 2 tough results to start the season, dropping narrow decisions to Colorado State and Ball State.  Brianna Jaeger started both games, Mary Kate Simon saw time, and Maddy and Emma Tabor are ready to go!

o Kate Del Fava earned Missouri Valley Offensive Player of the Week with her 2 goals in the season-opening win for the Redbirds.

o Hailey Farrington-Bentil helped MSU to an opening win, and started in their 0-1 loss to BYU.

o Ali Menard started in Davidson’s 2-0 win over Winthrop after coming off the bench in their season-opening 3-2 win over Gardner-Webb.

o DePaul dropped two one-goal decisions to SMU and Milwaukee, with freshman Maria Nordness starting in the backline both games and Mikaela Hoard in reserve.
