Vicker Joins FC WI Eclipse Coaching Staff

Another Club Alum Comes Back!

After a distinguished four-year career at Marquette University, club alum Mady Vicker is joining the coaching staff for the 2015 spring season!

Vicker finished her collegiate eligibility in 2014 after appearing in 59 games over her 4 year career.  She helped Marquette to three NCAA tournament appearances (2011, 2012, and 2013), earning All Big-East Freshman Team honors in 2011, and All-Big East Second Team honors in 2013.  She also earned All Big-East Academic Team honors in 2012-2013, and was named to the 2013 NSCAA Scholar All-North/Central Region Second Team.  In her youth career, Mady was a center midfielder and captain of the 2011 U18 National Champions, the only youth team (boys or girls) to ever win a national championship from Wisconsin, and also played for the club in the 2013 ECNL U23 National Championship game.

"We are really excited to have Mady join the club and to see her begin a new stage in the game," said Christian Lavers.  "As a player, she was a tenacious competitor, and her will to win was inspiring to her teammates and a big part of why her team won a national championship.  We will be excited to see her translate this to coaching, and to teaching the next generation of players."

"I can't say how excited I am to be with this club again, and to be back in the environment I loved so much as a player," said Vicker.  "I am looking forward to giving back to the game that gave me so much, and to helping the players in this club get better everyday."
