FC Wisconsin is excited to announce the return of former player Jen Wandt to the club as a Goalkeeper Coach, as she also returns to Milwaukee as an assistant coach at Marquette University.
Jen was an accomplished and decorated goalkeeper at Baylor University, where she earned All-Big 12 Honors in 3 seasons, and set numerous program records - including single-season shutouts, overall shutouts, and wins. After finishing her collegiate career, she also played 2 years professionally in Sweden with Trelleborgs FF. After concluding her playing career, she worked in collegiate coaching at Illinois State University and Indiana University.
Jen was a player at FC Wisconsin for the majority of her youth career, converting to the goalkeeper position at U15. "I am thrilled to be joining the FC Wisconsin staff and am looking forward to training and developing the goalkeepers here," said Jen. "The opportunity to give back to the club I spent my youth career at is something I couldn't pass up and I could not be more excited to get started."
"We are so excited to have another club alum join the staff," said Executive Director Monica Gonyo. "These full-circle moments are unique and provide great opportunities for our young players to really picture their future in the sport as players and even coaches."
