FC Wisconsin was one of only 46 clubs in the country, and the only club in Wisconsin, to be named a "Players First" licensed club by US Club Soccer - a recognition of the club's commitment to a holistic development process that focuses on the growth of every player in the club.
The "Players First" license is being referred to as the first "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval" in youth soccer, and the club's recognition is a credit to all of the staff in the club, the staff that founded and formerly coached in the club, and the parents and players that choose to be part of the club every day.
Selection as a "Players First" club is based on the club's programs, structure, and philosophy in 5 areas: player development, coaching development, club development, parent engagement and education, and player health and safety. Being a "Players First" club is a philosophical commitment to put the player at the center of every club decision, and to help every player develop to their full potential.
