In the opening weekend of NCAA Womens College Soccer, FC Wisconsin Eclipse alumni showed again how the training program at FC Wisconsin Eclipse prepares players for long-term success in college.
On an undefeated East Coast road trip for the UW Womens Soccer team, Cara Walls scored once in a 3-2 win over UConn, and two more times in a 3-2 win over Illinois State. In total, six players that have come through the FC Wisconsin Eclipse development system featured for the Badgers over the weekend: McKenna Meuer, Lindsey Holmes, Carly Vogel, Holly Heckendorf, and Becky McGrath. On the opposite coast, five former FC Wisconsin Eclipse players featured in a 1-1 trip to Portland for Marquette University. Mady Vicker scored once in a 3-2 win over Portland State, with contributions from Katie Hishmeh, Mary Luba, Jacie Jermier, and Ashley Stemmeler. Read more here.
