Another Week of Alums Shining in College

Update for Week of October 19!

As conference championships are starting to be claimed, FC Wisconsin Eclipse alums are continuing to show what long-term development looks like.  Read below for the updates!

  • WisconsinThe Badgers winning ways continued in their 1-0 defeat against Michigan State.  McKenna Meuer’s attacking presence was on display as she notched the assist for what we would be game winning goal. Holly Heckendorf started and played 90 minutes in the backline and Steph Fabry came off the bench to help protect the lead!
  • UWMThe Panthers kept their 5 game winning streak alive with the 1-0 win against Detroit. The win improved their Horizon League record to 6-0-0. Cassidy Blanchard and Erin Corrigan both started the game and Mariah Downs and Olivia Wright contributed off the bench.
  • NorthwesternMary Erickson and Northwestern dominated Iowa with a decisive 4-0 win.
  • DukeMary Elizabeth and Duke upset UNC 1-0, in a historic win! It was the first time in a decade the Blue Devils came out on top against the Tarheels, bringing Duke to an 8-4-4 overall record.
  • MarquetteMarquette kept their focus against a tough Georgetown team; they were two-goals down in the second half, yet they rallied back to tie the Hoyas, resulting in a 2-2 draw. Jacie Jermier and Caroline Fink started the game and both played over 100 minutes to contribute to the comeback!
  • Notre DameBrittany Von Reuden started and played 90 minutes in the 1-0 victory against Wake Forest, improving their ACC record to 4-3-0.
  • Cardinal StritchKatie Golabowski started and Jamie Karch scored for Cardinal Stritch in their 4-1 loss to St.Francis. The team bounced back and topped Judson University 1-0; Karch scored the game winner once again! It was her 14th goal of the season – a total that ranks second in the CCAC.
  • LoyolaMariah Vichich started and played every minute for Loyola in the double OT scoreless game against Drake. With the result, the Ramblers move to 6-6-4 (1-1-2 MVC).
  • Florida Gulf CoastElyse Hansen and Florida Gulf Coast validated their spot at the top of the A-Sun conference with a 6-0 victory over NJIT.
  • BrandeisHaley Prudent and Brandeis were elevated with an overtime goal, resulting in a 1-0 win over Washington University in the University Athletic Association (UAA) battle.
  • RochesterChristina Feller started and scored her first collegiate goal in the opening minute in the 4-0 win against Case Western Reserve! Rochester moves to 6-5-1 with the victory and evens up its UAA conference slate at 2-2.
  • Western State COKatie Hoefgen came off the bench in the 1-0 loss to UC-Colorado Springs in the non-conference matchup. Western State CO overall record is 6-6-2 as they return to Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.
  • New HampshireUNH had two close games against University of Maine and UMBC. They fell 2-1 in OT against Maine and were held scoreless on the road, losing 2-0 on the road against UMBC. Gaby Dorsey contributed off the bench in both matches.
  • DenverMary Dewalt and the University of Denver women’s soccer team secured a 1-0 victory over Fort Wayne, moving the Pioneers into the Summit League mid-table.
  • Florida Atlantic UniversityMaddie Pung started and contributed to the fourth consecutive victory for FAU, with a 1-0 overtime win at Conference USA rival Marshall.
  • UW Green BayKara Baugrad started and played the full 90 minutes on the road in the 2-1 loss to defending Horizon League Champions, Valparaiso.
  • Loyola Marimount: Ally Andreini and LMU were off.
  • MIT Lilly Mueller and the MIT women's soccer team fell to Smith College, 2-1, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action.
  • Oklahoma StateMichelle Ongaro and Oklahoma State kept a clean sheet and continued their unbeaten streak to five with a 1-0 win over Iowa State.
  • Case Western ReserveGabby Kiefer contributed off of the bench for Case Western Reserve in the double-overtime scoreless tie with Emory University. The shutout was the ninth through 13 games this season for the Spartans defense.
  • University of IndianapolisAmy Wilson and the University of Indianapolis battled to a scoreless draw against Rockhurst in regular season play.  They went on to end their regular season play with 1-0 defeat by William Jewell College in GLVC play.
  • Northern IllinoisNorthern Illinois and Jackie Wandt earned a hard-fought point with a scoreless draw against Miami (Ohio) in Mid-American Conference action.
  • Western IllinoisEmma Keckeisen came off the bench for Western Illinois in the 3-0 loss to IUPUI in a Summit League matchup.
  • NortheasternMollie Rosen and Northeastern fell 2-1 to Hofstra in overtime.
