The id2 National Identification and Development program provides an opportunity for elite players to be identified, developed, and scouted for inclusion in youth national teams.  There is no cost to participate in the program, which is funded by US Club Soccer and Nike.

The spring id2 camps focus on the 1999 birth years for girls.  Each camp provides an opportunity for the players to work with some of the best developmental coaches in the country, have US Soccer scouts and staff on-site to evaluate the players, and to have a fantastic training and competition experience.  The camps include multiple training sessions, presentations on the system of play of the youth national teams, and 2 training games.  The Chula Vista camp included a special appearance from US Soccer Development Director Jill Ellis (who was also an assistant coach for the US Women in the 2012 Olympics in London).
